Structures with Open Framework

 

Double Post or H-Frame (DP-NR)

This design works best when a single row of center posts will interfere with the intended purpose of the area underneath the footprint of the structure. These posts would be located on the perimeter or corners of the cover, leaving the center area open for use.

Single Post “Tee” (SPT-NR)

This is the best and most common solution to head-to-head parking. It also the most cost efficient method for optimizing the available area with a minimum of upright columns. These structures can be built up to 40’ wide with 18’oc bays (2 full parking spaces) between columns.

Semi Cantilever (SC-NR)

This design offers the same coverage area as a full cantilever with the added ability to extend past the back edge of a parking stall. It is very useful in optimizing coverage when the available footprint area is greater that the stall itself and allows for variations in column placement.

Full Cantilever (FC-NR)

This structure is designed for use when post interference from side to side is unacceptable. It allows for the full footprint of the structure to be completely open on three(3) sides, with the columns located at the head of the stalls.

*****All of the structures under this heading are designed with either exact purlin spacing (depending on module), for mounting directly to purlins. If racking is to be installed by solar contractor, then maximum purlin spacing allowed by approved engineering will be used.

*****Purlin spacing on the structures under this heading is determined by approved engineering. The roof deck comes in a standard galvanized finish, but can be factory coated (choice of colors) for a minimal fee.

Solar Buildings & Sheds

Custom designed out buildings that are full or partially enclosed. They can be designed with roll-up doors in any outside bay on any side of the structure. Entryways and exits can be incorporated into the design wherever desired. These structures can be installed with or without a slab foundation in place. Foundation may even be added at a later time.
